What to expect:

  • Responsibility for cargo operations and navigation on Europe’s waterways (as instructed by the captain).

  • Carrying out and monitoring loading and unloading operations.

  • Compliance with relevant requirements – from onboard safety to the legal framework governing shipping.

  • Ensuring the smooth running of vessel operations.

Your profile:

  • Appropriate training and experience as a helmsman.

  • A Union License or a comparable qualification.

  • You act independently and know what matters when preparing loading and unloading operations.

  • Good language skills in German/Dutch.

  • Team spirit, reliability, flexibility and resilience.

  • A strong sense of responsibility.
