What to expect:

  • Forward-looking planning and organization of all operational processes on board, including shift and navigation watches.

  • Close cooperation with the chartering departments to implement voyage orders.

  • Coordination with internal departments on safety-related, technical and personnel topics.

  • Route planning with a focus on draught, route guidance and traffic-related requirements.

  • Preparation of the stowage plan including stability calculations as well as reports on irregularities and incidents.

  • Planning and execution of all loading and ballast operations.

  • Compliance with all relevant requirements – from onboard safety to the legal framework in shipping.

  • Close coordination with the crew, including with regard to maintenance work.

Your profile:

  • Appropriate training and experience as an STM.P.

  • A Union License or a comparable qualification.

  • You act independently and know what matters when preparing loading and unloading operations.

  • Good language skills in German/Dutch.

  • Team spirit, reliability, flexibility and resilience.

  • A strong sense of responsibility.
